Y3 will be making their own mood boards tomorrow. If the children would like to bring in any magazine clippings or photos to add to their mood board this would be great. If they do not yet have their items ready do not worry as we will add to them throughout the term. School will provide lots of craft items for the children to use if the children do not bring anything in.
Miss Collins

If your child is attending Y3 reading club this week they will need to be collected from Y5 Giraffes instead of Y3 Penguins. This will be for one week only.

Y3 children will be making their own mood boards and tie-dyeing a t shirt in Art this half term.
For the mood boards if children could please bring in any photocopied photographs, computer printouts, magazine or newspaper clippings of things the children like this would be really helpful. This will be required for 05.07.22.
For the tie-dyeing activity if children have an old white t-shirt that they could bring in to school for tie dying that would be great. If not, no worries but please let us know so we can get some ordered. This will be required for 08.07.22.

Science
Today we explored what light and dark is. We had lots of different pictures and identified which were light sources and which were not. We then used a box to explore whether we could see items inside it when we poked holes into the boxes.
Computing
Today we were learning to understand the terminology around databases. We played games using the comparison cards and then created our own comparison cards.
